The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has introduced the digital edition of its Legislation Encyclopaedia, offering an essential resource for stakeholders, customers, and the public. This updated digital platform integrates all legislation related to DMT’s functions, serving as a comprehensive guide for those seeking detailed legal information.
The digital encyclopaedia’s main aim is to increase legal awareness, streamline references, and support DMT’s key objectives, including managing sustainable urban development, enhancing municipal services, and improving Abu Dhabi’s integrated transport system. The resource is divided into eight core sections, covering topics such as the formation of DMT and its affiliates, real estate, urban planning and infrastructure, public health and safety, environmental sustainability, and integrated transport networks.
A standout feature of the new digital edition is its AI-powered search function, enabling users to quickly access accurate, relevant information. In addition, a ChatGPT-based virtual assistant offers multilingual support, providing instant answers to legal inquiries and directing users to appropriate references.
DMT highlighted that the digital Legislation Encyclopaedia represents a significant milestone in the department’s pursuit of regulatory excellence and technological innovation. This initiative offers seamless, free access to vital legislative data, aligning with the government's vision to strengthen the legal framework and enhance Abu Dhabi’s global reputation.
