The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has announced the launch of its Value Housing Programme, aimed at enhancing versatility within Abu Dhabi’s real estate market. This initiative, which will be implemented in strategic phases, focuses on improving living standards for individuals and families, fostering social integration, and strengthening community bonds, key components of the Year of Community.
By ensuring that housing units are both affordable and of exceptional quality, the programme demonstrates DMT’s commitment to cultivating dynamic, inclusive communities.
As part of this initiative, DMT has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Sdeira Group and Central Holding Group (CHG). Sdeira Group, known for its expertise in real estate, investment, and asset management, will develop residential and commercial units. CHG, with its global experience and innovative approach to integrating cutting-edge technologies, will collaborate to deliver affordable housing solutions across the emirate.
H.E. Mohamed Al Shorafa, Chairman of DMT, highlighted that these partnerships aim to create vibrant neighbourhoods that set new standards for quality, sustainability, and inclusivity. The programme also reflects Abu Dhabi’s ongoing efforts to meet growing housing demand and improve the quality of life for all residents.
