The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has announced that all existing municipality Citizens’ Food Product Programme sales outlets will be closed from 01 March 2026, with operations being exclusively handled through ADCOOP, part of MAIR Group.
Service delivery will be significantly enhanced through 48 distribution centres operating with flexible hours, providing citizens with greater accessibility and convenience to obtain subsidised food products, along with a wide range of discounted items.
The Department noted that the programme’s online service through the TAMM platform will continue to be available, with delivery of orders now being handled through ADCOOP.
