Abu Dhabi
The Department of Municipalities and Transportation today launched a new unified Toll-free number that will integrate all of DMT and its subsidiaries' customer support centres services, including technical assistance, building permits, the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) and other services.
The new 800850 number will provide a communication line representing the "Service Support Centre” for DMT with the aim of unifying the department's communication channels and providing a fast and efficient service linking all services of the department and its affiliated entities, including the municipalities of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Al Dhafra region, as well as the Integrated Transport Centre.
This project is part of DMT's efforts to improve its services through the adoption of efficient resource management and optimal utilization that best contributes to sustainable development, in line with Abu Dhabi's strategic vision and plan. Aiming to develop best-in-class services and practices, the new toll-free line will enhance the customer's digital experience through the adoption of advance technologies at the highest level and will help users complete applications and transactions faster and more efficiently, reducing the time spent providing services to customers to save them both time and energy.
The newly developed communication line will provide fast and efficient services in Arabic and English, including options for users to easily navigate services between municipalities and the Integrated Transport Centre, ITC, including providing technical support for the digital services platform (Smart Hub), along with Smart Hub registration services for senior citizens and people of determination, and access to the technical support service for building permits.
DMT also announced the retiring of the previous toll-free numbers for the Integrated Transport Centre Services Call Centre, 80088888, and the building permit call centre, 80080888, effective from 15th August 2021. The Abu Dhabi Taxi Service Call Centre, 600535353, will maintain operations as usual.
DMT recently successfully completed the digital transformation of its services, despite the global challenges associated with the rapid shift to digital services during the pandemic. The department was able to deliver all of its services digitally in record time, thus supporting the Abu Dhabi government's efforts in effecting a complete digital transformation of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
