Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi City Municipality invited all engineering establishments operating within the construction sector of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to register in the classification system via the "TAMM" platform. This crucial registration step will facilitate the acquisition of a professional engineering practice certificate, enabling these establishments to engage with related government entities, including availing services associated with the Abu Dhabi City Municipality.

This was stated during the awareness workshop (via Microsoft Teams) organized by the City Planning Sector through the Classification and Professional Registry Administration. The workshop, part of the agenda for the first quarter of 2024, aimed to raise awareness about the classification system for contractor companies, engineering consultancy offices, and the registration of engineers. It also aimed to enhance communication and cooperation with these engineering entities to provide the best services.

The workshop focused on explaining the classification system and instructions, how to apply for classification services on the "TAMM" platform and presented examples of the documents required from contractor companies and engineering consultancy offices for the classification request. It also showcased the technical and technological updates specific to the classification systems.

During the workshop, visual materials were displayed to clarify the procedures and requirements for the classification of engineering establishments, as well as the classification requirements. The organizing team also answered questions and inquiries from representatives of contractor companies, engineering offices, and workers in the sector.
