As part of Abu Dhabi City Municipality’s commitment to strengthening communication and community participation and embedding the values of community responsibility among all segments of society, the Municipality organised a community awareness event entitled “My City Is More Beautiful” at Airport Park. The event targeted school students, with the aim of raising their awareness of the importance of preserving the public appearance and reinforcing positive behaviours that support sustainability and quality of life.
The event included a series of awareness workshops and educational lectures focusing on key themes, most notably: preserving the public appearance and the role of individuals in enhancing the city’s civilised identity; recycling and its impact on conserving natural resources and protecting the environment; and sustainability as a way of life that supports the future of coming generations.
