Abu Dhabi City Municipality implemented a comprehensive campaign under the slogan: (Our Home, Our Responsibility), aimed at promoting social responsibility towards preserving recreational facilities.
During the campaign, the Municipality’s specialized teams carried out numerous field visits to several parks, recreational areas, and sports walkways across various regions under the Municipality’s jurisdiction. These visits aimed to raise awareness among visitors about the importance of preserving public facilities, their equipment, cleanliness, and overall appearance, ensuring they remain fully functional and continue to contribute to community happiness.
The campaign also focused on educating visitors on the importance of maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of public and recreational facilities, including playgrounds, trees, plants, flowers, seating areas, service facilities, landscaping elements, and green spaces, while adhering to practices that preserve their general appearance and a clean, healthy environment.
In parallel, the field awareness campaign coincided with a digital campaign عبر the Municipality’s official platforms and the Fareejna application, through the dissemination of awareness messages and publications, and by inviting the community to actively contribute to the preservation of public facilities.
Abu Dhabi City Municipality reaffirmed its commitment to continuing projects aimed at providing recreational and sports facilities for all family members, in line with the objectives of the Year of the Family, contributing to their happiness and encouraging them to benefit from and enjoy municipal facilities that meet international standards. At the same time, the Municipality looks forward to visitors’ commitment to positive behaviors that enhance the sustainability of these facilities in serving and delighting the community, by maintaining public cleanliness, properly disposing of waste in designated areas, and avoiding damage to green spaces, flowers, play areas, and other components of these facilities.
