Abu Dhabi

The Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by Abu Dhabi City Municipality, has completed the “Al-Furjan 2 Play Areas” project in New Al Falah. This initiative falls within the framework of expanding the network of neighborhood parks to provide recreational options that contribute to the happiness of residents and the enhancement of quality of life.
The community recreational project was funded by Mubadala Investment Company and implemented in cooperation with the Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an.
The project includes the development of an integrated play area featuring various sports and recreational facilities, such as children’s playgrounds, fitness equipment, a padel court, and a multi-use sports court. These features offer a suitable environment for recreational and sports activities, helping to improve residents’ quality of life.
The project also includes numerous elements such as service and aesthetic components, seating areas, and natural features that enhance the vibrancy and environmental quality of the area. This includes the planting of trees and sustainable local plants that are low in water consumption, provide natural shade, and help moderate the temperature—enriching the overall visitor experience.
