Abu Dhabi City Municipality, in collaboration with Musaffah Municipality Center and partners including Abu Dhabi Waste Management Company (Tadweer) and several volunteers, has implemented a campaign to clean “Al Nouf” area. This initiative aims to preserve the public and sophisticated aesthetic of beaches, ensuring they remain free from waste and environmental distortions that impact both marine life and public health.
During the campaign, field teams also focused on raising awareness among community members about the importance of adhering to the environmental and public health laws in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. They emphasized the significance of such compliance for maintaining a clean and healthy environment, preserving public safety, and enhancing the sophisticated aesthetic that Abu Dhabi is known for. Additionally, they highlighted the crucial role of community cooperation in fulfilling these objectives.
The campaign also involved sending instructive text messages in Arabic to all citizens in Al Nouf area, along with disseminating informative publications across various social media platforms and through the "Freejna" application.
The campaign encompassed multiple objectives, including the consolidation of positive values and the elevation of social responsibility towards the environment and sophisticated aesthetics. It aimed at raising awareness about the importance of adhering to the Public Aesthetic Law. Additionally, the campaign sought to enhance social responsibility among community members, encouraging compliance with laws and requirements, the collection of waste, distortions, and obstructions, and their eco-friendly disposal off the beaches.
