Abu Dhabi

As part of its efforts to instill the values of preserving the city’s aesthetic and civilized appearance in line with Abu Dhabi’s ongoing urban development, the Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by Abu Dhabi City Municipality, organized the “My City is More Beautiful” initiative. The event targeted school students in Bani Yas and Shakhbout City.
The initiative aimed to encourage students to adopt positive behaviors that contribute to maintaining a clean, healthy environment and preserving the city’s overall appearance. It also sought to engage them in hands-on activities that demonstrate practical ways to keep their city clean, protect natural resources, and enhance the city’s beauty.
The event, held in Bani Yas City and Shakhbout 29 Park, featured the “Agriculture Corner,” which offered children a hands-on experience in planting seedlings to encourage their interest in farming. The event also included workshops highlighting the importance of agriculture and its role in enhancing the public appearance of Shakhbout 29 Park.
