As an embodiment of the Abu Dhabi City Municipality’s plan to achieve the goals of the natural beautification project, represented by planting 13 million summer and winter flowers for the current year 2024 and enhancing the aesthetic appearance of Abu Dhabi City and its suburbs, and to improve the efficiency of managing assets, infrastructure, public facilities, and preserving their effectiveness, and establishing the attractiveness of Abu Dhabi and its suburbs, and raising the standard and quality of life, and making residents and visitors happy. Abu Dhabi City Municipality, represented by the Sub-Municipalities Operations Sector, has successfully planted 6,500,000 flowers for the summer season, achieving a completion rate of 100% of the plan set for the current summer season.
Abu Dhabi Municipality carefully selects beautiful and harmonious flower arrangements using widely grown and sustainable varieties. The goal is to maintain the aesthetic appeal of streets, public facilities, squares, and various parts of the city by creating a consistently beautiful and harmonious appearance that complements the city's distinct architectural character. This creates a feeling of tranquility and happiness for residents and visitors, allowing them to enjoy stunning and natural views through aesthetically pleasing flower arrangements.
The seasonal summer flowers we planted display various colors, types, fragrances, and beauty in their arrangements. They form creative and beautiful compositions that captivate the viewer, adding a vibrant and lively touch to the city's landscape.
Abu Dhabi Municipality implements natural beautification landscaping projects with flowers and plants, following sustainability standards and selecting species suitable for the UAE environment. This aligns with the municipality's commitment to conserving and sustaining resources.
The municipality has announced that more than 6 million summer seasonal flowers have been planted because of the combined efforts of the sub-municipality centers, achieving a 100% completion rate of the target.
