As part of the ongoing efforts of the Department of Municipalities and Transport to enhance quality of life and improve public facilities across the capital and its surrounding areas, H.E. Ahmed Fadhel Almehairbi, Acting Director General of Abu Dhabi City Municipality, inaugurated Play Areas (3 and 4) in “Family Park A” on the Abu Dhabi Corniche, following the completion of maintenance, rehabilitation, and development works.
The project aims to improve and elevate the efficiency of recreational facilities, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for park visitors—particularly children—while giving special attention to children of determination by equipping designated areas tailored to their needs and ensuring their inclusion in community activities.
H.E. Ahmed Fadhel Almehairbi encouraged community members and visitors of parks and recreational spaces to contribute to the preservation of public facilities and their components—such as trees and green areas—by adhering to positive behaviors. He emphasized the important role of parents in supervising children while they play to ensure their safety and instill values of responsibility toward their surroundings.
