Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi City Municipality organized through the Centre Al Tawajud Al Baladi Center in Bani Yas is hosting the "Community Market" event from March 1st to March 8th, 2024, as part of the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathbah. This event is organized in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ and Sheikh Zayed Festival.
The "Community Market" aims to support owners of small and medium-sized projects, including youth, productive families, and communities residing in the country, while also enhancing the role of Al Tawajud Al Baladi Center. Additionally, the market seeks to engage the role of strategic partners, create family-friendly entertainment areas, and provide exhibition platforms to support and motivate these project owners.
The Market also offers exhibition platforms for 40 productive families to showcase their projects' products, including a variety of clothing, perfumes, accessories, and food items, as well as products and goods from "Dikkan Awal". In addition, several recreational activities and events for children, such as face painting and coloring workshops, are conducted within the space designated for the market.
The Abu Dhabi City Municipality thanks the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Sheikh Zayed Festival for this fruitful cooperation as well as the facilities and efforts provided to establish the market within the festival area. Visitors to the market can also enjoy the festival's activities, including local, Arabic, and international folk performances by community bands on the stages within the pavilions of participating countries. They can also take part in the heritage competitions organized on Saturdays and Sundays each week.
