Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi City Municipality, via the City Municipality Center, has accomplished a project aimed at restoring and augmenting the quality of natural aesthetic elements on the central island of "Hazza Bin Zayed" Street, from the crossroads with Khalifa Bin Shakhbout Street to the intersection with Al Bateen Street. The scope of work involved planting blossoming trees, alongside soil covers, seasonal flowers, and a variety of decorative shrubs, to reinforce the principles and standards of sustainability in the realm of natural beauty, in harmony with the values and goals of the Year of Sustainability 2023.
This project aligns with the Municipality's commitment to enhancing the quality of natural aesthetic elements on the central islands of the main streets within Abu Dhabi Island, and bolsters improvement initiatives aimed at reinforcing Abu Dhabi's status as one of the world's most beautiful, harmonious, and spectacular cities.
The project encompassed planting 39 flowering trees, providing 8,260 square meters of soil coverage, and planting 4,652 seasonal flower saplings. As the Abu Dhabi City Municipality continues to execute agricultural beautification projects and spread flowers across the city, we uphold the standards of serenity, beauty, and joy in our streets, public facilities, and squares, reflecting the comprehensive growth at all levels in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and contributing to the happiness of residents and tourists.
