Abu Dhabi City and its suburbs are adorned with more than 6 million seasonal flowers, enhancing the beauty of its streets and public facilities, bringing joy and delight to residents and visitors through artistic floral displays in a variety of harmonious arrangements that reflect the commitment to the city’s public and aesthetic appearance.
The project to plant 6 million summer flowers, completed by the Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by Abu Dhabi City Municipality, comes in line with the objectives of the Natural Landscaping Project, which includes planting summer and winter flowers for the year 2025, reinforcing the appeal of Abu Dhabi and its suburbs, elevating the standard and quality of life, and bringing joy to residents and visitors.
The Natural Landscaping Project and flower planting covered Abu Dhabi City and the mainland, including Abu Dhabi City, Zayed City, Al Wathba, Al Shahama, and Mussafah.
Abu Dhabi City Municipality was keen to select beautiful and harmonious flower arrangements, focusing on the types with the highest growth and sustainability rates, in order to maintain the aesthetic appearance of streets, public facilities, squares, and various city components. The result is a stunning, harmonious, and architecturally integrated visual scene that delights residents and visitors alike. These flowers form an attractive natural canvas that captures the eye, uplifts the spirit, and offers the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking natural views through exquisite floral arrangements and coordinated color harmony.
