In line with its ongoing efforts to enhance quality of life and promote a healthy and active lifestyle among community members, the Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by Abu Dhabi City Municipality, organized the “Active Facilities” event at Shakhbout Square in Shakhbout City, with the participation of several partners and supporting entities.
The event program featured an awareness session on the importance of physical activity and the preservation of public facilities, followed by a sports competition that witnessed enthusiastic participation from attendees. The event concluded with the distribution of prizes to winners and participants.
Through this initiative, Abu Dhabi City Municipality reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening community engagement, encouraging the public to make greater use of the municipality’s recreational and sports facilities, and promoting health awareness, community interaction, and quality of life throughout Abu Dhabi.
