This year's second quarter has seen the Abu Dhabi City Municipality, represented by the City Planning Sector, conducting a series of instructional workshops via the Microsoft Teams platform. The focus of these workshops is to elaborate upon and train relevant stakeholders on the use of the (TAMM) platform for availing classification services, contractor licensing, consultation office registration, engineer registration, and engineering professions.
These workshops embody the Municipality's dedication towards educating and training its partners and customers on its most recent services and best practices, thus enabling them to conveniently access these services. The goal of these workshops is to train engineering establishments active within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, such as contracting companies and engineering consultation offices, on the system and instructions of classification and licensing, registration of engineers, and the process for applying for services on the "TAMM" platform. Examples of the documentation required from engineering establishments for application submission are also presented, along with technical developments related to classification systems.
For further information on the application procedure for classification services on the "TAMM" platform, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality urges interested parties to view the Classification Services Guide for engineering establishments on the official "Department of Municipalities and Transport" website, where updated user guides for classification management services and electronic services for profession registration on the "TAMM" platform are available.
The Municipality also encourages engineering establishments, including contracting companies and engineering consultation offices, to partake in the monthly awareness workshops conducted via Microsoft Teams, in order to stay updated with the latest service developments.
In light of this, the Municipality invites all engineering establishments active within the building and construction sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to register in the classification system through the "TAMM" platform, thereby obtaining a certificate for practicing engineering professions, enabling them to interact with relevant government agencies, including services related to the municipalities of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
