Al Tawajud Al Baladi Center – Bani Yas, in collaboration with the strategic partners, has successfully wrapped up the "Bani Yas Summer" event. Initially kick-started on July 10, 2023, this event took inspiration from the "Bani Yas Community Caravan" theme, aiming to offer a productive summer for the youth.
This event, tailored for kids aged between 8 and 14, comprised various activities such as swimming, jiu-jitsu, and football sessions, courtesy of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. The Emirates Heritage Club, National Archives and Library offered "Al-Sanaa" workshops, while the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments provided "The Little Preacher" sessions and Quran memorization classes. Furthermore, there were enjoyable trips including horseback riding, shooting excursions, and visits to Yas theme parks like SeaWorld and Al- Qanaa Aquarium in Abu Dhabi.
In line with these offerings, the Abu Dhabi Sports Council rolled out sports activities via the Active Hub program. The Family Development Foundation contributed with educational workshops, and the Abu Dhabi Police's Sports Department furnished both sports and academic activities for the young participants
To mark the festival's inauguration, Bawabat Al Sharq Mall showcased a special animated movie for the child attendees and their families in a cozy setting at the Novo Cinema located in the mall.
To commemorate the conclusion of the "Bani Yas Summer" event, Al Tawajud Al Baladi Center – Bani Yas organized a grand finale, appreciating the partners for their invaluable contribution. Their efforts ensured a memorable summer for children and families, fulfilling the event's social and recreational objectives.
