Abu Dhabi City Municipality, through the City Municipality Center, conducted an awareness raising initiative for visitors to Abu Dhabi's Corniche Beach and Al Bateen Public Beach as part of “Our City is More Beautiful” initiative, and aimed to raise awareness among the community about the importance of preserving the environment, maintaining the general cleanliness of the beaches, and enhancing the overall beauty of the city.
The initiative, carried out in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority, Zayed Search and Rescue Volunteer Team, and Basatin Landscaping Company, with the participation of 21 volunteers, included raising awareness among beachgoers about the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of the beaches and the various service facilities established for the comfort and enjoyment of all members of the community.
During the initiative, the municipality teams and representatives of strategic partners worked on cleaning the beach and the seabed in the areas of both beaches to protect the marine environment and ensure the safety of beach visitors.
