he Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), represented by Abu Dhabi City Municipality, has urged companies specialized in building demolition to adhere to all safety, security, and environmental protection requirements during demolition operations. The Municipality emphasized the importance of applying best practices both in the demolition process itself and in the transportation of demolition waste to designated disposal sites.
This came as part of a field and inspection campaign targeting demolition sites across Abu Dhabi, in addition to an awareness workshop organized to inform companies operating in the demolition sector about the best methods to ensure the highest levels of safety — for workers, the public, and public and private property — while simultaneously meeting environmental protection and infrastructure preservation requirements during demolition and waste transport activities.
