The Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by the Abu Dhabi City Municipality, calls on construction companies and their site managers to Noon to the summer work stoppage in open areas, scheduled from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., from June 15 to September 15. This is to ensure the safety of workers on site and to promote the values of compassion and humanity that reflect the UAE's values.
In this context, a workshop titled “Safety in the Heat” was organized to educate workers in construction companies on the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation’s midday work regulations during the summer. The session also recommended distributing drinking water and rehydration solutions to workers to prevent heat stress, and emphasized the importance of providing rest areas equipped with appropriate cooling and ventilation systems at job sites.
