The Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by Abu Dhabi City Municipality, continues its efforts to promote public health and community safety through an extensive inspection and awareness campaign. This initiative targeted children's hair salons, beauty centers, and laundries, coinciding with the start of the new academic year.
The campaign aimed to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and continuous sterilization while raising awareness among business owners and workers about the importance of full compliance with approved health requirements to safeguard the well-being of children and all community members.
Abu Dhabi City Municipality emphasizes that health compliance is a shared societal responsibility that goes beyond a legal obligation. The municipality calls for adherence to the guidelines and executive regulations of Law No. (2) of 2012. It also reaffirmed its commitment to carrying out similar campaigns to strengthen public trust in its supervisory role and to raise awareness about the importance of providing a safe and healthy environment that supports the quality of life in Abu Dhabi.
