Abu Dhabi City Municipality, represented by the Urban Planning Sector - Spatial Data Management Department, organized a virtual training workshop via Microsoft Teams. The workshop aimed to inform surveying companies and licensed surveyors about the latest updates on procedures related to surveying work.
This workshop is part of Abu Dhabi City Municipality's efforts to enhance cooperation and communication with surveying companies, informing them about the regulations and systems governing surveying activities. It also sought to discuss the requirements that ensure these companies receive the best, most flexible, and responsive services by best practices.
The objectives of the workshop varied and included providing participants with the latest procedures, techniques, and tools used in the field of surveying; enhancing cooperation and communication with the private sector (surveying companies) by sharing knowledge and experiences; promoting professional development and innovation in the field; strengthening the roles of strategic partners; and contributing to the development of the construction sector in Abu Dhabi by offering innovative services and creative solutions that advance this field.
The workshop covered several key topics, including a presentation explaining the registration and licensing mechanisms for surveying companies and licensed surveyors, exchanging opinions and experiences, discussing challenges in surveying work, clarifying the procedures followed in surveying work and the steps for submitting data to Abu Dhabi City Municipality; and emphasizing the importance of adhering to all guidelines and regulations related to Abu Dhabi City Municipality to contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of submitted data.
