As part of its commitment to strengthening direct engagement with the community and reinforcing a customer-centric approach—particularly for senior citizens—Abu Dhabi City Municipality has launched a community campaign titled “Neighbours matter” across cities under its jurisdiction. The initiative reflects its ongoing commitment to delivering quality services that contribute to enhancing overall quality of life.
The campaign targeted senior citizens and wider community members through direct field visits to residential areas, aimed at raising awareness of municipal services and facilities, and explaining how to access them effectively. This approach ensures that services and information are delivered to all segments of society in an accessible and efficient manner.
The campaign also included in-person engagements with senior citizens and residents, during which feedback and observations were gathered, and community needs within their local areas were identified. These interactions support stronger communication channels between the Municipality and the community, while informing the continuous development of services in line with residents’ expectations and actual needs.
