As part of its commitment to celebrating and engaging with global events and occasions and to fulfill its priority of fostering community connections while promoting awareness that enhances the quality of life, Abu Dhabi City Municipality, represented by the City Municipality Center, organized a comprehensive community event—the initiative aimed to strengthen children’s abilities to connect positively with nature through various educational activities.
Aligned with Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week, the event supported social responsibility values and principles. It sought to increase community satisfaction with the programs offered by Abu Dhabi City Municipality. It also promoted participation in local and international occasions, with support from strategic partners, including Al Fahham Company, Girody Dental Clinic, Arabic Language Protection Team, Al Ain Water Company, Al Manara School, Kinda Land Company.
The event harnessed this global occasion to create a memorable and meaningful childhood experience. It featured activities to teach school students the basics of planting, providing them with a profound hands-on experience to connect with and appreciate nature. The day also included a visit to Al Matar Park in Abu Dhabi.
The event hosted several workshops, such as a Sustainable Farming Workshop, a Green Space Conservation Workshop, an Arabic Language Workshop, and a workshop on Oral and Dental Health.
