The Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by Abu Dhabi City Municipality, has urged all workers in the construction sector to implement all precautionary and preventive measures to avoid fire incidents at construction sites. This initiative comes as part of the municipality’s commitment to ensuring worker safety, protecting public and private property, and preserving the surrounding environment and community well-being.
This call was made during a campaign conducted by the Environment, Health, and Safety Division of the municipality, which lasted for five days. The campaign aimed to enhance public awareness on fire prevention in the construction sector, create a safe working environment, and increase compliance with fire safety requirements.
