To raise awareness among its employees regarding emergency response and to ensure the safety of both staff and the public, the Abu Dhabi Municipality conducted an evacuation drill at its main building. This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority to test and improve the municipality's team’s capacity to respond to evacuation scenarios and to ensure a structured approach to emergency situations.
The evacuation was executed professionally, highlighting the municipality's preparedness and the staff’s responsiveness in managing emergencies. The drill also assessed the readiness of the building’s fire protection systems, as well as the employees’ and visitors’ awareness in following Civil Defense evacuation instructions. Participants demonstrated significant cooperation, facilitating an efficient evacuation process within a commendably short time frame.
