Abu Dhabi

In celebration of the arrival of the Hijri New Year 1447, the Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by Abu Dhabi City Municipality, adorned Abu Dhabi Corniche and several bridges with illuminated installations that reflect the spiritual essence of the occasion and enhance the city's visual appeal.
The designs were inspired by Islamic architectural motifs, elements of nature, and both Islamic and Emirati heritage. The phrase “Hijri Year 1447” features prominently, with lighting in a golden yellow hue blended with elegant lines illuminated in white, pistachio, and sky blue. These displays are further enhanced by flashing light units and dozens of light formations featuring congratulatory messages for the Hijri New Year.
Notably, Abu Dhabi Corniche showcases a rich array of decorations, particularly illuminated curtains suspended between the road’s lighting poles, glowing in soft white. Additional elements include golden yellow lighting units combined with white, pistachio, and sky blue tones.
