Through the Sector of Infrastructure and Municipality Assets has earned two awards for “Landscape Middle East Sustainability 2023 Awards ” for the following categories:
- “Sustainable Parks and Recreation” of the Sustainable Saline Park Project
- “The Rising Star in the field of Landscape Architecture in the Middle East” Eng. Salama Saeed Al-Ketbi Design Studio Section Head.
This achievement is one of the municipality’s long history of special achievements in initiatives, projects, and qualified individuals, represented by the Sector of Infrastructure and Municipality Assets.
The Sustainability of Landscape Middle East 2023 award was held in “Atlantis the Royal” in the Palm, Dubai. This sophisticated event caught the attention of over 500 professionals in engineering and landscape architecture, where special achievements were awarded and recognized in the middle east, and over 30 awards were handed in celebration.
Landscape Middle East Sustainability 2023awardس celebrated the notable contributions of professionals and institutions who excel in the field of sustainable landscape architecture.
The awards embrace a variety of categories, such as: Lifetime Achievement Award, Prominent Professionals Rising Star, Distinctive Organizations, and Project Awards in Urban Landscape, parks and Recreation, Tourism and Retail, as well as Landscape Art Landmarks.
It is noteworthy that award trophies were produced with sustainability as the main goal; each custom-crafted award was made from a durable board material manufactured only in the United Arab Emirates by Desert Board, an event sponsor. This material is manufactured from 100% recycled palm frond vegetative waste.
