Abu Dhabi City Municipality carried out an awareness and inspection campaign targeting laundry and dry-cleaning establishments across Abu Dhabi Island, in cooperation with a number of relevant authorities.
The campaign aimed to verify compliance with approved health requirements and to enhance standards of cleanliness within establishments, thereby supporting public health protection and improving the quality of services provided to customers.
The initiative targeted business owners and employees and included inspection and awareness visits to approximately, to ensure the effective implementation of applicable health and preventive requirements.
The campaign was carried out by inspectors from the Abu Dhabi City Municipality, who educated laundry owners and workers about the importance of continuous adherence to public hygiene and the regular and periodic application of health requirements within the facilities.
