It is essential for property and shop owners, as well as their employees, to prioritize public hygiene and a clean, healthy environment. Waste must be disposed of appropriately in designated containers, ensuring the preservation of a general sense of civilization and aesthetics.
This call is a result of the municipality's comprehensive field campaigns across all areas under its jurisdiction, conducted through the sub-centers. Throughout these five-day campaigns, the municipality's inspectors were committed to educating and encouraging landlords and tenants to fulfill their responsibility in upholding the overall appearance and well-being of the community.
In this regard, Abu Dhabi City Municipality, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Waste Management Company (Tadweer), conducted field campaigns through the City Municipality Center, Al Shahama Municipality Center, Musaffah Municipality Center, Madinat Zayed Municipality Center, Al Wathba Municipality Center, and Bani Yas Municipal Presence Center. The campaigns targeted real estate owners and shopkeepers within the jurisdiction of each center, educating them about the appropriate disposal of waste and emphasizing the importance of maintaining public hygiene and adhering to the relevant appearance regulations enforced in the Emirate.
Throughout these campaigns, municipality inspectors monitored residential units for any violations, educated residents on-site, and contacted property owners via telephone to raise awareness among workers and residents about the crucial significance of using designated containers for waste disposal.
Moreover, targeted groups across all regions received informative text messages, and the municipality disseminated numerous awareness publications through its official social media accounts and the "Freejna" application.
Abu Dhabi City Municipality confirms that depositing waste exclusively in designated containers throughout all areas not only enhances the city's civilized and aesthetic appearance but also plays a significant role in preserving the environment by preventing the reproduction and spread of harmful insects that pose a threat to the community's safety.
