
The Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by Abu Dhabi City Municipality, organized a workshop targeting contractors whose occupational health and safety management systems were recently approved. The aim was to raise awareness of the requirements of the Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health System, thereby contributing to the promotion of a safe working environment.
The workshop covered the system’s general framework, organizational structure, and the roles and responsibilities of companies in implementing its requirements according to the classification of each activity. It also introduced participants to the electronic performance system dedicated to managing occupational health and safety across the emirate.
In addition, the session highlighted procedures for reporting incidents and submitting mandatory forms through the electronic platform in compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. It further addressed key provisions of the system’s framework and facilitated discussions on best practices for its practical application.
