To reinforce positive values and promote a culture of preserving the city’s aesthetic and civilized appearance, the Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by Abu Dhabi City Municipality, organized the “My City is More Beautiful” initiative at several key locations, including A’l Bahar Beach at Abu Dhabi Corniche, New Al Shahama Park, Mussafah Bazaar Market, Jarn Yafour area, and Al Nouf area. The event aimed to encourage community members to be active partners in maintaining the city’s overall appearance.
The initiative featured a variety of workshops and activities targeting school and university students, as well as labor groups, raising awareness of their important role in preserving aesthetic elements and landscaping. It also encouraged visitors to public facilities to adopt positive and civilized behaviors, fostering a strong sense of community responsibility and promoting positive social conduct.
As part of the event, a range of saplings were distributed to participants, encouraging them to practice gardening and contribute to expanding green spaces, agricultural areas, and natural beautification across the city.
