Abu Dhabi

To enhance students' awareness of the importance of maintaining the city's appearance, Abu Dhabi City Municipality, through Al Wathba Municipality Center and Baniyas Municipal Community Center, organized an event titled " My city is more beautiful" in collaboration with several strategic partners. The aim was to educate students on the necessity and significance of keeping public facilities clean and enhancing the city's overall aesthetic and cultural landscape.
Al Wathba Municipality Center held an event targeting school students in cooperation with the Department of Education and Knowledge and the Tadweer Group. The event included workshops and awareness lectures for students on the impact of unsightly behaviors and their dangers to the city's appearance. Students also participated in a park cleaning campaign and various educational segments, awareness presentations, and educational competitions that encouraged students to maintain the city's appearance.
Similarly, the Baniyas Municipal Community Center organized an event for school students at the Bawabat Al Sharq Mall in collaboration with the Emirates Schools Establishment, the National Archives and Library, and the Bawabat Al Sharq Mall. The event aimed to raise students' awareness of preserving the city's beauty and appearance. It included a drawing and coloring workshop using recycled materials and an exhibition showcasing a collection of old photographs of Abu Dhabi.
In parallel with these events, numerous awareness materials were published through the municipality's official social media accounts and the "Freejna" app to educate the community about the importance of maintaining the city's appearance and instilling these values in children and future generations.
