Abu Dhabi

To maintain the sustainability, efficiency, and civilized appearance of public facilities, the Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by the Abu Dhabi City Municipality, has implemented field campaigns to preserve assets, property, and public facilities through all its sub-centers and municipal presence centers. These campaigns targeted all segments of society, including school students and visitors to parks, gardens, and sports trails, in various areas within the municipality's geographical scope and its sub-centers.
During the campaign, municipal teams conducted numerous field visits to numerous parks, gardens, and sports trails across the municipality's geographical scope, raising awareness among visitors about the importance of maintaining public facilities and their equipment, cleanliness, and civilized appearance. These campaigns ensure that public facilities remain fully operational and contribute to the happiness of all.
During the campaign, visitors to public facilities were educated about the need to preserve their infrastructure and facilities, such as rides, trees, plants, flowers, seating areas, service facilities, beautification elements, and green spaces. They were also encouraged to maintain their overall appearance and maintain a clean, healthy environment.
To further the campaign's objectives, several awareness workshops were held, targeting all segments of society in various regions and facilities. Awareness workshops were held for workers, as well as for visitors to some municipal playgrounds. Awareness workshops were also held for students in several schools. Several schools were visited, and a series of workshops were organized to educate students about the concept of social responsibility and their duty to maintain and clean public facilities. This enhances their healthy environment and their civilized and aesthetic appearance, contributes to reducing the environmental impact, and protects public resources from waste or damage. The campaign also included publishing several awareness posts through the municipality's official social media accounts and the "Fareejna" application, to educate community members and encourage them to do their part in maintaining public facilities, their equipment, cleanliness, and general appearance, so that they remain modern recreational facilities that contribute to everyone's happiness, within a safe recreational environment.
