His Excellency Ahmed Fadhel Almehairbi, Acting Director General of Abu Dhabi City Municipality, affirmed that the martyrs of the UAE have illuminated the nation’s present and future through their sacrifices and devotion. Their valor has strengthened the security of the homeland and its citizens, setting an honorable example of loyalty to the nation, its leadership, and its flag.
This came as Abu Dhabi City Municipality commemorated Martyrs’ Day in a ceremony held at its main headquarters in Abu Dhabi, honoring the nation’s heroes on this solemn national occasion.
H.E. Almehairbi added: “We proudly remember the sons of the UAE who embodied the highest meanings of sacrifice and inscribed, with their pure blood, eternal pages of courage and loyalty. Their heroism will forever be a guiding light for generations to come, and their sacrifices will remain deeply rooted in the memory of our nation—reinforcing our loyalty to our leadership and our homeland so that it continues to stand tall in pride and glory.”
He extended his deepest gratitude and appreciation to the UAE’s righteous martyrs who gave their lives in defense of the United Arab Emirates, protecting its people and upholding its flag as a symbol of dignity and honor. H.E. also expressed his pride in the heroism and steadfastness of the UAE Armed Forces and their courageous stance in safeguarding the nation.
