Abu Dhabi City Municipality has added a new global achievement to its record by winning three international awards in the International Best Practice Competition (IBPC) recently held in New Zealand. This accomplishment reflects the municipality's leadership in creativity and innovation, its commitment to delivering the best, and its continuous improvement in services while competing globally with various participating entities, leading to an exceptional victory.
The municipality competed alongside prestigious local and international institutions. Prominent experts evaluated all submitted entries through the IBPC’s Best Practice Certification system. The evaluation results led to the victory of the "Noor Abu Dhabi" project - phases one and two - in the Asset Management category. The municipality is the only entity globally to win in this category in this year's 10th edition of the competition. Additionally, the "Noor Abu Dhabi" project - phases one and two - received a "7-Star Rating" in the International Best Practice category, the highest and most prestigious rating globally within this category. Abu Dhabi City Municipality presented a unique and distinguished model of sustainable applications by implementing the "Noor Abu Dhabi" project, which aimed to replace traditional lighting with energy-efficient LED lights, reducing carbon emissions and achieving targeted sustainability.
The municipality expressed that receiving the 7-star Rating is a source of pride and a commitment to continuous service enhancement, reinforcing its leading role as a pioneering institution in community service and development.
Furthermore, Abu Dhabi City Municipality's "Innovation System” received a "5-Star Rating" in the Organization-Wide Innovation Award category.
This achievement came as part of the municipality's participation in the International Best Practice Competition, where it showcased its accomplishments and policies in the fields of innovation and creativity, leveraging this advanced vision to support its operations and services in alignment with the national strategy to promote concepts and practices of innovation and creativity, enhancing the quality of life and service development.

It is worth noting that the International Best Practice Competition is part of the Centre for Organizational Excellence Research (COER), an international organization based in New Zealand that conducts benchmarking, business excellence research, and consultancy. The competition encourages local and international institutions to share their best operational and management practices, processes, systems, and initiatives and learn from others' experiences.
