Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) has conducted a campaign through Shahama Municipality Center to maintain the public appearance and remove graffiti and distortions from the walls of buildings during June. The campaign targets all segments of society in all geographic areas within the Shahama Municipality Center to maintain the public appearance and raise community awareness to limit the negative impacts that result from writing on the walls of buildings.
During the campaign, ADM is working to make the public aware of the necessity to comply with laws, maintain the public appearance, monitor violations related to writing on the walls of buildings. ADM communicated with stakeholders from the community members to remove graffiti within a certain period as per the applicable laws and refer the statement of awareness to the Department of Control and Inspection to ensure the removal of violations on time per the applicable laws.
It is worth mentioning that Shahama Municipality Center is working according to a strategic plan that aims to maintain the public appearance, promote a healthy environment in areas located in Shahama. These works are in coordination with the Department of Community Services and strategic partners to make the public aware of the public appearance via SMS, official newspapers, social media platforms, and several outlets that serve this aspect.
