In alignment with the "Sports Without Borders" slogan, and as a part of the "Baniyas Community Caravan," the Baniyas Municipal Presence Center collaborated with Azurite Crossfit Fitness Center and Barin Hospita to host a Women's Sports Day. This event aims to foster women's health and wellness, offering them a vibrant space to engage in a range of sports and physical activities that boost their overall fitness levels.
The event took place at the Azurite CrossFit Fitness Center, located in Sarab Mall - Baniyas. It featured a variety of sports activities, programs, and invigorating competitions, which added a layer of fun, benefit, and joy to the participating women's experience.
40 women participated in the event, and they were divided into 20 teams, each team consisting of two players, where they competed in a sports and entertainment atmosphere. Prizes were allocated to all participants in the event, in cooperation with Touch Al Oud and Unique Beauty Spa.
The Sports Day sought to elevate health consciousness among women, encouraging them to adopt healthy lifestyles through balanced nutrition and consistent participation in sports programs. It also aimed to dissuade women from any behaviors detrimental to their health and wellness.
Al Tawajud Al Baladi Center - Baniyas is committed to fortifying its role in community awareness. In collaboration with partners, the center organizes diverse events that cater to the interests and needs of community members across all age groups, aiming to enhance the quality of life and general happiness within the community.
The event highlighted the role of physical exercise as both a preventive and curative measure against a variety of diseases such as heart conditions, atherosclerosis, osteoporosis, and obesity. Moreover,
it emphasized exercise's potential to lower the risk of diabetes and contribute to sustainable health practices.
