Abu Dhabi City Municipality constantly seeks to reinforce its message and role in community and awareness, it also works non-stop throughout the year to organize many sport events in order to encourage individuals to exercise, as well as to activate municipal facilities which were established in various cities within its’ geographical scope, with the goal of pleasing the people and encouraging them to integrate sports into their lives.
Therefore, as a part of the (Neighborhoods Football Championship) initiative, through: City Municipality Center, Al Shahama Municipality Center, AlWathba Municipality Center, Zayed City Municipality Center, Musaffah City Municipality, and in collaboration with: Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, Dalma Mall, L.L.H Hospital, Al Bustan Medical Center, Burjeel Hospital, Life Care Hospital, Sharjah American International School, and 321SPORTS Company, Abu Dhabi City Municipality organizes numerous football competitions which target various groups in the community.
20 teams of various individuals and groups in the community shall have the honor of participating in the championship, which shall take place from the 6th until the 26th of this November. The teams are split into 5 groups, each group consisting of 4 teams, whereas all teams play against each other on suburban fields within a league system in order to win the first places in the championship. Moreover, on the final day, cups and medals will be granted to the leading teams in first places, while awarding the participating teams as well.
