The celebration was attended by Engineer Ali Khalifa Al Qamzi, the Director General of Al Ain City Municipality, along with several directors and employees of the municipality, to perform the flag-raising ceremony in celebration of this national occasion, which coincides this year with the approaching celebrations of the country's 51st National Day.
His Excellency Ali Al Qamzi, Director General of Al Ain City Municipality, said: "Dedicating the third of November to honoring the flag of the United Arab Emirates is a testament to our wise leadership's vision to instill national spirit and unity among the people of the UAE, renew loyalty to the leadership and the nation, and enhance the status of the flag as a solid identity and a proud symbol of the state.”
He added: "Today, under the banner of the union and under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and his brothers, the rulers of the Emirates and the Crown Princes, we bear the responsibility to continue to work tirelessly and diligently to achieve achievements and excellence so that the UAE flag remains a symbol of the position of our state among nations."
