Khalid bin Al-Walid Street in Al Ain City is enhanced with a quarter of a million flowers, transforming it into something resembling a flower garden. This is after Al Ain City Municipality planted over 251,000 flowers of "Portulaca," which bloom from sunrise to sunset, earning them the nickname "morning flower." The flowers are planted in the middle islands and along the edges of the street, which features a walkway on both sides.

The green spaces and plants blend with the flowers along Khalid bin Al-Walid Street, creating a beautiful scenery that charms passersby. The municipality has planted "Portulaca" flowers in the middle islands and along the edges of the street. These flowers are characterized by their vibrant colors, ranging from red to yellow and pink, featuring small blooms and thick leaves. They are ground-covering plants used as soil cover, typically planted in spring and early summer. Portulaca adapts well to various soil types, whether sandy, clayey, or rocky, and is rich in essential nutrients for gardening.

In addition to the beauty and attractive colors of this morning-blooming plant, it is notable for its ability to adapt to dry environments and direct sunlight exposure.
