Al Ain Municipality decorated the streets and squares of the city by planting around 3.4 million seasonal flowers on an area exceeding 340 thousand square meters in the heart of Al Ain city and its suburbs, during the current winter season.
Through this project, the municipality aims to enhance the overall aesthetic and civilized appearance of Al Ain city by planting flowers in beautiful arrangements on the sides of main and secondary roads, central islands, and public agricultural areas in the city.
The municipality also works to achieve diversity in planting flower varieties for each season according to a well-thought-out plan, selecting multiple types and colors of flowers using modern methods and designs to highlight the aesthetic gradient of colors and varieties used. The municipality implements a plan to plant seasonal flowers in the city on three main cycles: summer, autumn, and winter. Flowers for each cycle are chosen based on their suitability for climatic conditions, water needs, salinity tolerance, and other factors.
