Al Ain City Municipality has concluded its participation in the first edition of the “Al Ain Dates Festival”, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, and organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority at Al Sarooj Park from 25 to 31 July.
The Municipality’s participation reflects its ongoing efforts to preserve Al Ain’s oases and palm trees as an integral part of the UAE’s cultural identity, while promoting the sustainability of the agricultural heritage for future generations. These efforts align with the objectives of the “Al Ain Dates Festival” in supporting farmers and highlighting the importance of the date palm as a national symbol that embodies the deep connection between Emiratis, their land and heritage.
