Al Ain City Municipality has launched the “Our Farms’ Products 2026” event, organized by the Community Services Operations Department. The event runs until 18 July at Al Hayer Wedding Hall, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The event is part of the municipality’s ongoing efforts to support local farmers, encourage national agricultural production, and strengthen community partnerships, contributing to sustainable development and enhancing quality of life.
Mohammed Al Ameri, Head of the Community Services Section at the Al Hayer Municipal Presence Centre, said that the event aims to provide a platform for farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs to showcase and market their locally produced goods, enhancing their competitiveness while encouraging community members to purchase high-quality national agricultural products.
He added that supporting locally grown produce contributes to empowering farmers, promoting the sustainability of the agricultural sector, strengthening the food security system, and fostering a culture of consuming locally produced products, thereby increasing their contribution to the national economy.
Al Ameri also noted that the event features a variety of dedicated exhibition areas for local agricultural products, alongside community activities and interactive experiences designed to raise visitors’ awareness of the importance of local agriculture, its role in preserving natural resources, and its contribution to supporting the local economy.
