Al Ain City Municipality has completed the lighting development project at Al Amerah North Park, aimed at enhancing quality of life, improving public safety, and elevating the urban landscape in the Al Amerah and Al Saad areas through the implementation of modern, sustainable lighting solutions based on advanced technologies.
The Municipality stated that the project, which commenced in July 2025 and was completed in April 2026, marks a significant milestone in upgrading the infrastructure of recreational facilities. A comprehensive lighting scheme was implemented throughout Al Amerah North Park in line with the highest standards of operational efficiency and environmental sustainability, creating a safer and more attractive environment for visitors.
The project included the supply and installation of 92 decorative LED lighting poles, strategically distributed across the park to enhance overall illumination while improving energy efficiency. In addition, 264 wall-mounted lighting fixtures were installed around the park to increase lighting levels across recreational areas, along with 22 suspended decorative lighting units in seating and rest areas to provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for families.
Furthermore, 600 LED strip lighting units were installed along the park's internal walkways, adding an aesthetic touch while enhancing the visitor experience, particularly during the evening hours.
As part of its commitment to serving all members of the community, the Municipality also equipped the children's play areas with safe and appropriate lighting systems designed to ensure a secure and enjoyable environment.
The project reflects Al Ain City Municipality's ongoing commitment to developing and upgrading public facilities in line with international best practices in sustainable infrastructure, contributing to improved quality of life and higher levels of community satisfaction.
