Al Ain City Municipality implemented a project to develop service facilities at Zakher Lake and Exit 30 in the Nahil area, as part of its ongoing efforts to activate desert sites and invest in them in a manner that enhances quality of life and provides recreational environments during the winter season. The project witnessed wide public turnout from various segments of the community.
The municipality explained that the project includes the establishment of integrated camping areas that meet the needs of visitors and camping enthusiasts in desert locations, equipped with solar-powered lighting units. It also includes upgrading internal roads at Zakher Lake and Exit 30 in the Nahil area by creating internal roads, side parking areas, and additional service facilities.
To facilitate visitors’ experience, Al Ain City Municipality launched an electronic reservation system for winter seating areas through the “Qasimatyi” platform, allowing free bookings with no additional fees.
