His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, visited the headquarters of Al Ain City Municipality, where he reviewed key development projects being implemented by the municipality across several vital sectors in the region.
During the visit, His Highness received a comprehensive briefing on the latest updates of a number of projects in Al Ain, most notably the “Al Rawda Square” project, which aims to strengthen infrastructure and improve the quality of public facilities, as well as the Oasis projects, which symbolize the region’s natural and historic agricultural heritage and contribute to preserving its unique environmental character, reinforcing its status as a prominent cultural and tourist destination.
His Highness also reviewed plans and efforts for the development of old residential neighbourhoods, aimed at preserving Al Ain’s heritage identity while enhancing residents’ quality of life by providing integrated modern services that meet the needs of the local community.
The visit also included a presentation on the innovative “Al Ain DNA” initiative, designed to highlight the identity of the Al Ain region in a modern style that bridges history and modernity, further establishing the city as a hub of cultural and tourism attraction.
His Highness was additionally briefed on the proposed projects for 2026 in Al Ain, which align with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and the efforts to advance sustainable and comprehensive development across the region, thereby enhancing the quality of life for community members in various key sectors.
Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed emphasized the importance of moving forward with the implementation of development projects in Al Ain according to the planned vision and timelines, in line with the wise leadership’s directives, and contributing to advancing the region’s development for the benefit of the community and the enhancement of their quality of life.
He stressed that the ongoing projects represent a fundamental pillar in strengthening Al Ain’s position as a leading development destination by achieving a balance between preserving its deep-rooted heritage and modernizing its infrastructure and main facilities, in line with the aspirations and needs of the community and in support of sustainable growth.
