Al Ain City Municipality, represented by the Community Services Department, implemented integrated community programs and initiatives during 2025 that contributed to enhancing quality of life and strengthening social cohesion in the Al Ain region, in line with the UAE’s 2025 theme, “Year of the Community,” and reinforcing the role of government entities in serving society.
During 2025, the municipality’s Community Services Department implemented 64 community events across various areas of Al Ain, aiming to enhance community engagement, support awareness and community initiatives, and introduce the municipality’s services to beneficiaries within the Al Ain community.
In support of families and community services, the municipality launched several initiatives, most notably the provision of subsidized food supplies for Emirati families. The number of families registered within the Community Services system reached 67,193, while 45,275 families benefited from subsidized food supplies during 2025.
