Al Ain City Municipality announced the launch of the 7th edition of Sweihan Dunes Desert Entertainment Festival, taking place from 8 November 2025 to 14 February 2026.
The festival serves as an annual platform that brings together desert sports, entertainment, and eco-tourism, attracting both local and international participants in an atmosphere full of adventure and challenge.
The festival aims to promote environmental sustainability and diversify tourism and economic activities in line with Abu Dhabi’s Vision 2030. It features a series of distinguished desert championships, including the Sweihan Half-Mile Championship, the Sand Drag Championship, the Drifting Championship, the Freestyle Show Championship, and the Shell Championship (introduced for the first time).
The festival also includes accompanying entertainment events such as fireworks, the “Baja Abu Dhabi” rally, luxury car exhibitions, camping areas, and interactive experiences inspired by the Emirati desert.
